We’re continually amazed by the level of creativity and thoughtfulness from all of you. With over 100 book queries and numerous submissions for our literary journals, we can’t thank you enough. It’s a joy to partner with gifted writers sharing pure and lovely work with the world.
Madison or Samantha will be reaching out to you soon about our book query and online journal decisions if you haven’t heard from them already. In the meantime, you have another month to submit your work for the spring literary journal!

Submissions for the print literary journal are open for one more month! The theme is Living In Wonder. If you haven’t submitted your pieces yet, be sure to get those in before March 1. You can visit our literary journal page for more information about our theme and what pieces we’ll accept. We look forward to reading your submissions! - ’s book, Why I Dyed My Hair Purple, is officially out in the world! We released her collection of creative essays on January 21 and celebrated with a virtual launch party. You can watch the replay here. Thanks to all of you, we are officially sold out on our website! We expect to receive new copies within the next two weeks. If you don’t want to wait to get your copy, you can find Kori’s book at Barnes & Noble or Amazon. We’ve loved hearing how many are enjoying the wisdom and encouragement she offers for anyone who feels like their faith and creativity are at odds.

Join us in congratulating Jenny Marcelene on her contract start date! We can’t wait to work with her on our first series at Calla Press Publishing: To the Ends. This world-travel adventure series teaches children how to see the world through a Christian lens. We can’t wait to share more about the first book of the chapter book series, The Dreamer, which will help kids understand a different culture from a biblical perspective.
In other exciting book news, we’re making progress on two manuscripts due for a mid-year release: Her Story of Jesus and In Praise of Houseflies: Meditations on the Gifts in Everyday Quandaries.
and Elise Tegegne have worked hard on edits, and their books are nearing the final stages of publication. We’re celebrating their dedication to the stories God’s given them to steward!Stay tuned for updates on the latest Knox family book, The Children’s Book of Alphabet ABC Character Qualities. Pre-orders will open soon! We’ll also share more in March about a special secret project we’ve been working on with Angela Knox.
Leilani Mueller’s whimsical children’s chapter book, All Aboard the Grandparents Express, is officially through with edits. The artwork is done and beautiful. We can’t wait to share more about this one soon! It will bless so many children who are navigating big moves.
We’re also thrilled about having the opportunity to work with Jordan Sleed on his poetry manuscript, Speaking of Broken Glass, along with T.R.Q.T. on a gripping historical fiction novel, Voice of the Ashes. 2025 will be filled with great books!

Kori Morgan was busy leading up to her book launch. She was a guest on
podcast hosted by Amy Simon. And, she was also interviewed by Jonathon Rogers on The Habit podcast! Congratulations, Kori.We’ve heard Gina Gallagher continues to share her message in classrooms, inspiring the next generation of authors. We’re cheering her on as she shares the joy of Reading with Remmy.
